Oakworth Methodist Church

Dear friends

I am writing to you to invite you to come to my service of recognition and admission as a local preacher at Oakworth Methodist church on Sunday March 11^th at 5:30pm.

You may be aware that I have now completed my time “on trial” as a local preacher and would like to take this opportunity not just to celebrate with all the people who have supported me throughout the five years it has taken but also to say thank you to all the congregations with whom I have had the privilege to lead worship and who have put up with my alternative style and requests for large numbers of readers or unknown hymns.

I know that the service is on the plan but would like to extend a personal invitation to come and join the fellowship; all are welcome at the service which will start with tea and cake.
