Caravan Park Voucher - Mission Possible Auction

We are grateful to our friends, Sally and Philip Tolson (former colleague of David Howarth) for their alternative style of support towards our fundraising for Mission Possible.

Sally and Philip are owners and proprietors of The Pines Caravan Park in Llandrindod Wells, Wales, and they have donated a voucher for a weeks' stay at the park for up to four people.

We have decided the best way to use this voucher is to auction it.

Voucher Details

The voucher is valid any time in 2018 with the exception of the weeks of the Royal Welsh Show (23rd-26th July 2018) and subject to availability.

Duvets and pillows are included free of charge. Bed linen may be hired if required.

The voucher is for up to four people, in your choice of caravan.  An additional two people and/or a dog may be added by paying extra - details available on request.

Details of the park are available on their website:

The representative value of this voucher is £360 - £520 depending on season and choice of caravan.

Further details are available from Peter or David Howarth (see below).

Auction Details

In order to make the auction available to as many people as possible, it will take place online between now and Friday 16th February, rather than a single event at the Church.  Bidding will close at 10pm on Friday 16th and the winner will be announced during the final performance of Tommy Tucker on Saturday 17th February and they will be contacted the following day.

Bidding is physically open to anyone - however - in order to keep the prize in someway linked to members and friends of the Church or the community of Oakworth:

The voucher must be collected from the Church by the winner or a nominated friend/relative.

We will not post the voucher to anyone. If you live out of the area, please make sure your friend/relative is happy to collect the voucher on your behalf before bidding.

Bids can be made in the following way:

  • By sending a private message to our Facebook page
  • By email to - (remove the letter X from the address before sending)
  • By phone on 215784 - (follow the prompts to get past our nuisance-caller service)
  • By text to Peter or David Howarth - (if you have our numbers)
  • Or to either of us in person

We will process and acknowledge all bids in the order they are received, regardless of which method you use to submit them.

All bids are deemed final.  If you have any queries, please ask before submitting your bid.

The current highest bid will be updated here and on Facebook approximately daily.
